It all began when a strong, bold, and courageous woman started her journey with breast cancer. Billie Jean "BJ" Jackson is a warrior whose spirit still lives on in our hearts and minds today. She began the journey over 20 years ago. Although the journey ended in February 2000, she never saw it as a defeat, because she knew the ultimate goal and that is where her focus remained. Despite her circumstances, she never stopped persevering, laughing, smiling, encouraging and lending a helping hand to those in need despite what she was going through. Most of all she didn't sweat the small stuff, which was the disease. So those of you that are faced today with this challenge, follow her path if you dare.
